Oxidative stress correction with metabolic preparations, new possibilities of antioxidant protection in primary glaucoma

There were studied antioxidant action of water-soluble form of quercetin – corvitin and melatonin in rabbits with glaucoma model. It was shown intravenous injections of corvitin essentially decreased oxidative stress in animals with advanced stage of experimental glaucoma. Prophylactic-protective apply of melatonin on the basis of model induction in significant degree protected oxidative stress development.
