Topicality. The population sensitization increases and in this connection they observe allergic skin diseases, which is an actual problem in medicine. The main dermatitis treatment is a glucocorticosteroid therapy, but it leads to reduced
immunity and serious side effects in patients.
Aim. Research of glucocorticosteroid therapy influence on neutrophils phagocytarial activity in allergic contact dermatitis conditions.
Materials and methods. Studies were conducted on a model 2,4 Dinitrochlorobenzene dermatitis in rats. Neutrophil granulocyte phagocytic activity was assessed by phagocytic index and phagocytic number, and the immune system - by the level of circulating immune complexes (CIC).
Results and discussion. It was established that cream containing mometasone and ceramides, ointment containing methylprednisolone does not affect on neutrophil phagocytic activity and, at the same time, does not affect on the neutrophil phagocytic quantity (phagocytic index) and their absorbing properties (phagocytic number), as well as normalize CIC levels.
Conclusions. Obtained results indicate the normal course of phagocytosis and animals immune protection during the local glucocorticosteroid therapy in the allergic dermatitis conditions.
